Barricade fabricated a large, custom timber bin store that was installed at the Oswestry orthopaedic hospital in Shropshire. The bin storage compound was part of the larger project, overseen by Kier, to build a new £15 million operating theatre and was completed in 2016.
The large, timber clad bin store was designed to securely store the hospital waste bins and featured a roof, complete with guttering, which is used to shelter one end of the storage compound completely from the elements allowing the storage of open top bins and containers. The bin store is built with a sturdy, galvanised steel frame finished with hardwood timber slats, a strong, durable Perspex roof and lockable, double-opening doors. The entire bin store is designed and built to be a long-lasting, weather resistant, secure and attractive waste storage solution.
