Delivery Policy
DELIVERY OPTIONS AVAILABLE:We offer a UK mainland delivery service for all of our products. This normally takes between 3 – 28 days, although lead times vary on specific products. Delivery charges are shown during the checkout process and vary depending on the size of the product and the quantity required. Once your order is confirmed, we will contact you to provide an estimated delivery date. Large orders will be delivered through the pallet network. Small orders will be delivered via TNT. Upon dispatch of the goods, a full tracking service will be available for TNT deliveries. To track orders sent through the pallet network, or to request a POD, email transport@barricade.co.uk.
HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?Delivery lead times will vary by product. For an estimated lead time, contact sales@barricade.co.uk with details of your required products before placing your order.
NON-WEB ORDERS:A lead time will be issued along with a written quotation for non-web orders.
WEB ORDERS:If you have a strict deadline/handover, we would always recommend contacting us for an estimated lead time before placing your order. A member of our sales team will contact you with an estimated delivery date following receipt of your web order. Our dispatch team will contact you to confirm the delivery date as soon as your order is ready for dispatch.
DELIVERY ADDRESS:Barricade Ltd can deliver to almost all UK mainland addresses within reason. Orders and deliveries are subject to our Terms and Conditions. We strongly recommend that you read our Terms & Conditions before placing your order.
We may not be able to arrange delivery for some rural areas, or we may need to charge additional delivery costs to cover. If there is an issue with your delivery address, we will contact you to advise our position. Additional delivery costs apply for delivery to Northern Ireland.
Delivery to an address other than your billing address is permitted. In this case, the delivery address must be advised to us when placing the order. You must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to change your original delivery address. A £15 admin charge may be charged to update your delivery address.
DELIVERY:Deliveries are normally made between 7.30am and 5.30pm on the delivery date previously advised to you by us. All deliveries will be made to the kerbside or the bottom of the driveway at the location of the specified delivery address. The customer must provide their own unloading facilities or request a specific delivery method such as Moffett delivery for large orders.
If for any reason the unloading of your goods exceeds 60 minutes, a charge of £50 for every additional hour will apply.
PREPERATION FOR DELIVERY:To allow us to carry out the delivery as safely and securely as possible, when you are contacted by Barricade Ltd to arrange delivery please:
- Confirm your address details and leave a day-time telephone number and/or mobile telephone number so that we can contact you, if necessary, on the day of delivery.
-
Ensure the delivery area is hard, level and safe to take the weight of a pallet up to a maximum of 1 tonne in weight.
Please note that our driver will not be able to unload your goods from the vehicle. We cannot deliver onto cobbles, gravel or uneven surfaces. Under those circumstances the pallet will be left at the nearest available safe delivery point.
- Please advise Barricade Ltd of any constraints which may restrict access to your delivery address for our vehicles by emailing transport@barricade.co.uk.
Ownership of the products will normally pass to you on the later of (a) delivery or (b) when payment is received by us in full. Once a product is delivered to you, it is at your risk. We will insure the product in transit up to the point of delivery only. If you are unable or unwilling for any reason to take delivery of products on the delivery date advised to you, and have not given at least 48 hours' notice before such date, or if we have been unable to deliver on this date because of problems with access to the delivery address, we may at our discretion store the products at your risk and charge the storage costs and any additional costs incurred as a result of failed delivery and any further attempt to deliver.
If the driver is unable to make delivery due to the named site contact being unavailable, or no answer at the delivery address provided, the goods may be returned to the depot and a re-delivery charge would then be charged in order to re-arrange delivery of your goods.
CHRISTMAS PERIOD DELIVERY:All orders made after the 15th of December will not be dispatched until the week commencing 10th January. This also includes next day delivery orders.
