Barricade were selected to fabricate the stainless steel pedestrian guardrails and gate systems for the new Bolton Bus Interchange project in Greater Manchester. The new £48 million pound bus station will replace the old station and will also provide a direct link to the adjacent train station via the 'skylink' bridge. Our stainless steel guardrail was selected for its strength and durability as well as its modern and attractive look that perfectly compliments the overall look of the new project. The guard rail is fitted along all of the road ways around the new station to provide an elegant access control solution and ensure the safety of the many daily commuters.
Barricade fabricated all of the stainless steel guardrail to the bespoke specification provided by Kier Construction, and worked closely with the planning team to ensure the final products were perfectly suited to the highly impressive new bus interchange project in the heart of Bolton. All of the guardrail fitted around the site is specially designed to be easily replaceable in the unlikely event of a collision or damage.
