Pedestrian guardrails form a strong and effective safety barrier between road traffic and members of the public. Guardrail barriers are commonly found outside of schools, along busy roadsides and at pedestrian crossings. This simple guardrail is an ideal fixture in busy public areas and outside of schools & colleges where there is the need to restrict access by children from pavements directly onto busy roads.

Pedestrian guardrails are fabricated from 50 x 30mm steel with 12mm infill bars and galvanised as standard to prevent rusting. The 'sight top' version of the pedestrian guardrail has a gap with no infill bars at the top of the frame to allow an unobstructed view of oncoming traffic.

·         Infill bars can be configured to allow better viewing angles for traffic.

·         Hot dip galvanising as standard to prevent rust.
