Pedestrian guardrails form a strong and effective safety barrier between road traffic and pedestrians. Guardrail barriers are commonly found near schools, along busy roadsides and at designated road crossings. This simple guardrail is an ideal fixture in busy public areas and outside of schools where there is the need to form a secure barrier from pavements directly onto busy roads.

Pedestrian guardrails are fabricated from 50 x 30mm steel with 12mm infill bars and galvanised as standard to prevent rusting. The 'no sight-top' version of the pedestrian guardrail has infill bars all the way to the top of the barrier frame with no viewing gap.

Pedestrian guard rails can also be manufactured in stainless steel.

·         Infill bars can be configured to allow better viewing angles for traffic.
