For multi-story car park applications, the following post centres are recommended to comply with BS 6399:
Design loading for Buildings: Perimeter Situations (single force) 1600mm post centres.
End of run situations (double force) 800mm post centres.
For industrial applications, either 1600mm or 3200mm post centre are recommended.
